FITZWILLIAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE
Stone with a
story to tell
New England’s source for authentic hand-split antique granite —
quarried from Webb Hill since before 1829
Genuine antique granite.
Impossible to replicate.
Fitzwilliam Granite Company sources authentic hand-split granite from Webb Hill Quarry in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire — a site documented by the U.S. Geological Survey as active since before 1829.
Our stone carries nearly two centuries of New England weathering. The lichen, the texture, the patina — none of it can be manufactured. It can only be earned over time.

Nearly 200 years of
New England history
Webb Hill Quarry in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire has been producing granite since before 1829. The first stonecutters to work these hills came from Aberdeen, Scotland — craftsmen who recognized the exceptional quality of what lay beneath this New England terrain.
The stone we source today is the same stone. Hand-split using traditional methods, naturally weathered over generations, and carrying the authentic character that no modern quarrying operation can replicate.
